The Hobbies That I Do for Fun

“Playing the blues heals my soul when I get lost in my rock and roll.”

There are five things I enjoy: jamming on my Gibson SG guitar, riding my Harley, writing the daily prompt, playing poker, and catching shows in Las Vegas. I like these activities very much. They are fun, thrilling, and challenging.

Playing my Gibson SG feels right. I like expressing myself musically. Playing the blues heals my soul when I get lost in my rock and roll. Really, I just like playing music. I once played in a church band, and I enjoyed that time in my life.

Riding my Harley offers a completely different kind of engagement. The motorcycle demands focus. I love when the engine roars as the bike rumbles as it thunders down the road. It’s all music to my ears. The wind in my face is thrilling and that’s part of the fun. I truly enjoy Looking cool cruising Las Vegas Boulevard.

Writing the daily prompt adds a creative challenge to my day. Each prompt brings something new. The creative thinking keeps my mind active. Some prompts make me reflect in a self-enlightening way. That’s cool too.

Poker is strategic thinking. I sit at a table with eight other players. We’re all trying to take each other’s stacks. It’s war. It’s a game of deceit and trickery. They call it a gentleman’s game.

The game creates a unique competitive dynamic. Each hand presents a new challenge. I watch betting patterns and the behavior of other players while protecting my stack.

Las Vegas shows offer spectacle and excellence. Whether watching Cirque du Soleil reshape the possibilities of human movement, seeing magicians bend perception, or experiencing live music in venues designed for sound and atmosphere, each show delivers something worth remembering. The thrill of live entertainment is electric.

The guitar, the motorcycle, the writing practice, the poker games, and the Vegas shows: these are the things I do for fun.
